OBITUARY FREMONT HERALD November 4, 1910
David Rowe died on Monday evening October 30 at his home just east of Fremont. Mr. Rowe had resided here for 25 years and was a truck farmer well known to most of the residents of the city. He had a stroke of paralysis last Friday and a 2nd stroke on Monday was the climax, his death ensuing shortly thereafter. Besides his wife, the deceased leaves in Fremont, 2 brothers Simon and Stephen R. Rowe. Funeral services will be held this afternoon at the Methodist Church.

From the IRON MOUNTAIN PRESS NEWSPAPER Thursday 21, Jun 1900: Mrs. Julia Hicks and Capt. Thomas Luxmore married Sat. morning... at 6 o'clock last Sat. at the residence of Mr and Mrs J.W. Thompson, Mrs Julia Hicks was united in marriage to Capt. Thomas Luxmore. Rev. A. Raymond Johns of Central Methodist Church officiating... Mrs Hicks is a sister to Mrs. J.W. Thompson and has resided here for a long time, having taught in the Lincoln school. Capt. Luxmore has been a resident of the city for 20 years, is night Captain at Chapin Mines.

Thomas Luxmore died of bronchial pneumonia begin 79 years of age.
