Arthur Morton Rowe attended Fremont Normal college. He spent two years in Alaska and entered the armed forces in WWI, where he became a first sergeant. He worked for the Courtright Hardware company until that business was discontinued. He was then employed by the Kollmeyer Hardware company and worked there until he became ill. Very musical, Arthur played the piano for a number of orchestras. Arthur was active in 4-H fair work and served as program chair for several years. He was a member of the First Christian Church.
