Robert Will Sr. took his oath of Citizenship from Scotland in Pennsylvania on 22 MAR 1820. The family came to Peoria County, Illinois in 1837. In the Blue Ridge Methodist Church there is a window in memory of Robert Will and one in memory of his wife Margaret. He was an early member of Lawn Ridge Masonic Lodge. Blue Ridge church, school and cemetery was a center of Hallock Township in Peoria County. Much of the Will information regarding Peoria Co., IL came out of a letter from Margaret Gill, Edelstein, IL (Dec. 1986), librarian and from an old book of the History of Peoria County (1880).
