OBITUARY
Paul Marcus Lowe, Santa Ana, California and formerly of Horton, died Sept 26, 1977 at Santa Ana. He was born January 9, 1907 at Mahaska, the son of Fred and May Lowe. He spent the early years of his life in Mahaska and on May 22, 1926 he was united in marriage to Frances V. Holan of Narka.

They later moved to Horton, where he was in the grain business until retirement. He was interested in civic affairs, and was a member of the Horton Masonic Lodge No. 326 AF & AM, Shriners, First United Methodist church, was a veteran of WWII and member of the American Legion.

He is survived by his wife Frances, two sons, Kay Don of Salina and Fred of Miami, Fla. Six grandchildren, Mike, Denise and Jon of Reno, Nevada; Gail of Everest and Paul and Ralph of Salina. Three great-grandchildren, Kelly and Patrick Streeter and Bradley Lowe. Also surviving is his mother of Mahaska, and three brothers, Wesley and Lesley of Mahaska and Jim of Hemet, California.

His father and one borther preceded him in death. Funeral services were held at Santa Ana, Fairhaven Memorial Park on Sept 28. Interment was also at Fairhaven.
