1876 Last Will and Testament Mathias Conrad
I, Mathias Conrad of New Haven, Allen Co. State if Indiana being of sound mind, memory and understanding do make and publish this my last will and testament in manner and form following: Item I. I devise and bequeath to Magdelene Conrad my wife house and lot adjoining including all house furniture. Item II.I devise and bequeath to Magdelene Conrad my wife the sum of fourteen hundred and fifty dollars that is all my personal property requesting her to pay my debts. Item III. After my wife s Magdalene Conrad death my seven children will get an equal share of all real and personal property that is left. And lastly, I hereby appoint my dear son Peter Conrad to be sole executor of this my last will revoking all other wills heretofore by me made. As witness my hand and seal this 16th day of February in the year of our Lord eighteen hundred and seventy-six.
