Mr. Conrad Wille died Sunday Noon Jan. 23. Was born 07 JAN 1840 at Lindhorst, Schaumburg-Lippe, Germany. When 16 years old he came to America and settled in Missouri near St. Louis. In 1862 he came to Schaumburg. He was married to Elizabeth Becker the same year. 8 children... one son, 3 dau.. have gone to their reward preceding the father. Mr. Wille suffered from LaGrippe since 9th of Jan., combine with weak heart... laid to rest Wed... Rev. Theis officiating... leaves widow, 4 sons and 20 grandchildren.

Heinrich Conrad Wille had a brother who immigrated: Heinrich FRIEDRICH Wilhelm Wille born 19 JAN 1832 at Lindhorst #52, baptised 21 JAN 1832 at Lindhorst. He married Anna Sophia Kraft (28 SEP 1830 - 21 NOV 1873). Friedrich Wille died 31 DEC 1909 and was buried 03 JAN 1910 at St. John Lutheran, Pleasant Ridge, IL. Anna Sophia Kraft (Kreft), Mrs. Friedrich Wille, was the daughter of Johann Toennies Kreft (01 JAN 1805 - 28 OCT 1873) from Niedernholz #4, Germany and Sophia Charlotte Fischer (17 OCT 1808 - 1874) from Ludersfeld #60. Sophia Kreft Wille had a sister Sophia Dorothea Kreft (31 DEC 1841) who married Heinrich Wilhelm Stahlhuth 10 DEC 1868 at Lindhorst, Germany. This couple immigrated to America. They also had a brother Ernst Friedrich Christoph Kreft (31 MAY 1839 - 22 DEC 1894) who also immigrated to Madison Co., IL and Sumner Co., KS. He was married to Sophia Charlotte Doehring. There were also Kreft cousins from Niedernholz, Germany who immigrated to Bremer Co., IA.
