Marriage of Mr. Grabe and Miss Cath. Schwiren was celebrated in Chicago. The bride was born in Hesse-Cassel, Ger., Jul. 26, 1831 to Fred and Ingel S. Her parents were natives of same kingdom, and there the father died when 62 yrs. He was Lutheran in religious faith. The widowed mother came with her 6 children to America and located in Cook Co., IL, dying there at the same age that her husband had reached.
