Obituary
William S. Schweer was born in Cook County, Illinois April 16 1871. At the age of 14 years he moved with his parents to Tobias, Nebraska. There he finished his christian day school education and was confirmed at the age of 16 years. In 1898 he was united in marriage to Mathilda Buchmeier at Hubbell, Nebr. This union was blessed with six children - three sons and three daughters. They made their home at Hubbell, Nebr. until they moved to Covington, Oklahoma in 1910, where he resided until his death at 10:45 am Friday, December 13, 1940. He departed this earthly life at the age of 69 years. He leaves to mourn his death his wife and children, Theodore Schweer of Covington, OK, Herman Schweer of Seagraves, Texas, Edwin Schweer of Prague, OK, Edna Stettnisch of Enid, OK, Alma Boepple of Covington, OK, Florence Faubion of Prague, OK, two step-daughters, Mrs. Amanda Schomaker of Covington, OK, Mrs. Mathilda McNew of Flint, Michigan, 15 grandchildren and a host of friends.
