Funeral services were held at the home of daughter Rose Sieckmann with whom he lived prior to dying. Farm was on NW1/4 Sec. 12 Franklin Twp.

The Nebraska Signal Newspaper, Geneva, NE August 31, 1916, Henry Mussman Farm
A quarter section of land 4- 1/2 miles east of town is the property of Henry Mussman. They had just finished threshing, the machine being still on the premises. The 35 acres of wheat made an average of 20 bushels per acre. Twenty-four acres of oats were in fair condition. In addition to small grain , he has 28 acres of corn, 9 acres of alfalfa, 3 acres of timothy and a good pasture. For stock he has 10 head of cattle and 1 hog. He had a nice bunch of hogs, but they became affected with a disease killing all but one. There are 14 good horses on the place. The house is new being built last year. There are many other buildings which are well suited for the different purposes of a farm. This was quite a fruit producing farm, but the past 2 years the trees have diminished. Quite a large vineyard is noted on the place. Mr. And Mrs. Mussman have occupied this farm for 30 years and during this time have reared a large family of children. Most of them having started a home for themselves. Now they are enjoying more of life having purchased an auto which will give them much comfort in their old age.

If you have come to my website via Ancestry: Several years ago the genealogy giant Ancestry absorbed the genealogy websites of Rootsweb along with personal databases posted at Rootsweb's WorldConnect Project that included a large database of my own family information. I started using Rootsweb in 2000 and they gave us the capability to add, remove, and update our information at anytime and I used these options frequently to post correct and current data. Presently (2006) I am told by Ancestry that we cannot maintain our own databases, we cannot even remove them. If you find information at Ancestry with my name attached please search my website for current information, the databases posted at Ancestry contain inaccurate information. - Karen Rowe.
